2. What Fora Player does
Fora Player is a media player for smart TVs. It does not provide any channels or content. Users add their own playlist (Xtream Codes credentials or an M3U URL) from their own service provider.
3. Data we process
| Device data | A random device code created on first launch, a 6-digit key and a secret known only to the device; registration and last-seen time; trial and licence dates; number of failed sign-in attempts. |
| Playlist data | Playlist name and type, server address, username, password or M3U URL that you add on the website. |
| Technical logs | Our infrastructure provider Cloudflare may process connection data such as IP addresses for security and operation. The Fora Player server does not store IP addresses in its database. |
Favourites, watch history, resume positions, settings and the downloaded channel list are stored only on your TV and are not sent to our server. The app uses no cookies, advertising or tracking. The website remembers your session only while the browser tab is open (sessionStorage).
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Delivering your playlist to your TV and providing the service (performance of a contract).
- Managing trial and licence status (performance of a contract).
- Preventing unauthorised access, e.g. temporary lock after failed attempts (legitimate interest).
- Complying with legal obligations.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. The service runs on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure, with the database hosted in Western Europe. Data may be disclosed to authorities where required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
Playlist data is kept until you delete it; device data for as long as the service is used. You can delete a playlist with Sil and permanently delete your device and all related data with Cihazı ve tüm verilerimi sil on the website at any time. Device records unused for a long period may be deleted.
7. Security
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Website access requires the device code and key shown on your TV, and access is temporarily locked after repeated failed attempts. Playlist passwords are never shown on the website and are delivered only to your own device.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and exercise your other rights under applicable law (including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and, where applicable, the GDPR) by contacting FORAGRUP@HS01.KEP.TR. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days.
